Doctor's Appointment Went Good

 I need to do better at posting to the Blog. I have been busy with work and taking care of my mother. On top of the I have been struggling with depression as well. My biggest issue is just not having the self-motivation to do the things I need to do when I am off from work. I will plan to do things on my time off and then I will just lay around because I just do not have the energy to do anything. I have been waiting to hear some good news. I go some with my doctor's appointment today. 

Last year, when I was in the hospital with Covid, my blood test showed my A1C Level was high. My doctor has been checking on it since I got out of the hospital. My last doctor's appointment my A1C was on the line for prediabetes. I have been watching my diet but not totally avoiding sugar and sodium. My A1C seen was 5.5, which is in normal levels but still could use some improvement. So that was good news. No need for medication. My doctor told me to continue with my diet and do more exercise. 

I have been planning to join Plant Fitness for the exercise part but have not made the time to go check the gym in town out and get the membership setup. If they had a pool, I would already have joined. My exercise routine goes better for me if it included swimming. Unfortunately, none of the 24-hour gyms have pools. I will be going to the gym after work at 1 or 2 in the morning. My goal is to have the gym membership setup before my heart doctor appointment on the 20th. 

So it looks like I will continue to work on improving my diet and getting more exercise. Hopefully, I will get more energy to do the things I need to take care of. 

I do know things will get better. Just need to view things in a positive light.
