Starting To Move Out of My Comfort Zone

 This has been a year for me. I got Covid in June and my mom got Covid right after me. Mom is currently on her fourth hospital stay. Friday, she was transferred down to a Critical Care Hospital in Greenville, SC. She has been in the local hospital here in town for three weeks. It has been one thing after another. They are to make her oxygen levels stable and help her be able to move around on her own more than she is now. She has not started her physical therapy, but they have cut the amount of oxygen she is taken cut over half already.  I am hoping she will be off the oxygen completely by the time she comes home. The hardest part of her being in the hospital in Greenville is that I will not be able to visit her before work. 

There have been a lot of changes at work. The lead on the dock passed away in May. I have been filling the position until they offically give the position to someone. I was put in for the position but was turned down for the position. The reasons for why I was turned down for the position I disagree with how they are being looked at. But my opinion does not matter so much, I have not even asked about my view of the reasons. I am mad but I have decided to do the right thing and do my best to train the person they gave the lead position too. I am not sure what they are going to have me to do now. I made it clear I did not want to go back to doing my old position as a clerk in the Shipping Office. 

My plan for now is to continue to work at the warehouse but, I am going to refocus my effort to get my online store back to making a profit and get to the point where I am making money on my videos of YouTube and on ads on my Blogs too. I have a lot of work to do to get to the point where these things will cover my life expenses, but I am determined to get to the point and be free to make my own choices on my work. 

Tonight, I pushed myself to the new set of bookshelves together for my online bookstore that I have been procrastinating on. I have it together but for the backing which I must nail on. It was getting late, even though I do not think my neighbors could hear it, I did not want to risk being load hammering in the nails. It will not take me long to finish it in the morning before work. 

The new shelves are not as wide as my old ones but have the same weight limit per shelf. The new width of the shelves is now making it, so I can put two side by side in one corner of my office. I will have to move the old set of shelves where I was going to put the new set, but I will have more room for my books if I get another set of shelves. When I get the shelves, all set up and arranged then stocked with the listed books, I will start listing more books. The more books I list the more I will sell.

Once I get my Online Store back to making a profit, I will work on getting my YouTube channel monetized and get ads approved for my Blogs. I know for my plan to work; I will need to have multiple streams of Income. Now I need to get out of my comfort zone and get to a point where I am making all the decisions of the direction of my life.

Chick-fil-a's Polynesian Sauce in Stores

I saw on a video that Mike and Becca from NTL Vlogs did on YouTube, that Publix was selling Chick-fil-a's Polynesian Sauce and Chick-fil-a Sauce. When I saw the video, I had to stop at my local Publix store and see if they had them. Monday while I was out taking care of errands, I stopped at Publix and got a bottle of Polynesian Sauce. Now the I have the Polynesian Sauce, I plan to make my own chicken nuggets and dip them in the sauce. It will be a fun cooking project.  While, I am happy that I can get Chick-fil-a's Polynesian Sauce and Chick-fil-a Sauce in stores now. At least around here I found it at Publix. I will have to check the other stores.

Go To A Party

Sunday Afternoon, I went to my first party in years. It was a great lift me up. I enjoyed myself a great deal. I got to see some people I have not seen in a while. Enjoyed sending sometime with people I see everyday in a different setting. Plus I got to meet some new people. I did not retreat into the background at this party like I normally do at events like this party. I was not the center of attention but I felt as part of the group. That is a good feeling for me.  The party lifted me even more out of the longest and deepest depression in have had. I think in we continue to lift out of my depression with some more of my plans. In a couple weeks I will be joining other friends for some fun on Halloween.  I also have a few other projects, I am working on that continue to show me I have worth and belong.  I am on my way up to a Mountain High now. Yes there will be a Valley Low after that but it will be followed by another Mountain High.
