Looking Forward to 2023

 There are a lot of things that cause me to say I am glad that 2022 is over. I am looking forward to the thing coming in 2023. Mom is recovering good from her four hospital stays during 2023. Her Cardiologist appointment last week went well. She is off one of her heart medicines and cut back on the other one. She was discharged for her home physical therapy  Tuesday afternoon.   She will be discharged from her home nurse next week.  She still has a lot to do to get back to the point she wants but she is working hard every day to get there. She has some exercises that she does to build her strength back up. She is hoping to reach a point where she can go back to work. I had my own hospital stay due to Covid. I am taking medicine every day for the first time since high school. I have made some adjustments to my diet that I needed to make. Starting To Move Out of My Comfort Zone

 This has been a year for me. I got Covid in June and my mom got Covid right after me. Mom is currently on her fourth hospital stay. Friday, she was transferred down to a Critical Care Hospital in Greenville, SC. She has been in the local hospital here in town for three weeks. It has been one thing after another. They are to make her oxygen levels stable and help her be able to move around on her own more than she is now. She has not started her physical therapy, but they have cut the amount of oxygen she is taken cut over half already.  I am hoping she will be off the oxygen completely by the time she comes home. The hardest part of her being in the hospital in Greenville is that I will not be able to visit her before work.  There have been a lot of changes at work. The lead on the dock passed away in May.
