Mountain Highs and Valley Lows

I have been one of the lucky ones who has been working all through the pandemic. I work for a company that sells equipment that is essential to the operation of hospitals, government, business and homes. We have a a couple cases at my work but no outbreaks. We have a had delays in getting products from our manufacturing plants due to the pandemic which caused backorders. Mix that with the demand for our products and we have been busy at the warehouse. I have worked a lot of overtime in the past year.  There have been weeks I have worked all 7 days. That means working 12 to 13 days straight. One of the things, I like about my job is the in normal times I work Monday through Friday with a Saturday once or twice a month. I do not mind working or the overtime but I have gotten to the point my worklife and personal life is out of balance.  I am working so much right now, I have little time to take care of things outside of work.  Last Saturday, I was sick and had to call off from work which

I saw on a video that Mike and Becca from NTL Vlogs did on YouTube, that Publix was selling Chick-fil-a's Polynesian Sauce and Chick-fil-a Sauce. When I saw the video, I had to stop at my local Publix store and see if they had them. Monday while I was out taking care of errands, I stopped at Publix and got a bottle of Polynesian Sauce. Now the I have the Polynesian Sauce, I plan to make my own chicken nuggets and dip them in the sauce. It will be a fun cooking project.  While, I am happy that I can get Chick-fil-a's Polynesian Sauce and Chick-fil-a Sauce in stores now. At least around here I found it at Publix. I will have to check the other stores.

A few weeks ago, the hauge on my laptop broke again. This is a defect for the model laptop I have. It is the third time, have dealt with the hauge breaking. First time, just brought a new laptop. The second time, I had it repaired since it was covered under warranty unlike the first time. This time, I am go to wait and save up money and get a different brand of laptop. I also plan on getting a desktop computer to better edit my videos for my YouTube channel. I can also do upgrades on the desktop easier and have more options.  For now, I am using a old tv as a monitor for my laptop. It is not the best but it will work until I decide of what laptop to get when I get the new one. I also have a major project around the house I want to finish before getting a new laptop. I have setup the laptop in my home office which I needed to organize a little better before I was able to setup the laptop on my desk. I use my office for my online book store.
