The Step for Mom's Recovery

For the last couple of weeks, mom has been in a clinical care hospital in Greenville, SC. They finished her medicine regiment and her oxygen levels have stabilized. The social worker at the hospital called me Thursday saying that this week they are going to move mom to a Rehabilitation Center to finish with her PT. They are working on getting her a bed at one close to home. I am hoping it will not be long for her there. Both mom and I are ready for her to be back home.  If I had the resources, I would have a home nurse for her so she could come home now. Even with wanting her home, I want to be sure she is good enough to be home where I will not have to take her right back to the hospital. I am glad we are getting there. So far Medicare and the insurance supplement have covered everything so far.

Book Store Refocus

I have been selling books on eBay for years now. I currently have 256 books or other items listed in my store. I have not listed anything new in a long time. Since I have recently been turned down for a promotion at work, I decided I really need to work on getting my bookstore back to making aa profit. I also need to get my blogs and YouTube Channel monetized too. I need to be the one who decides if I am doing a good job and how much money I make.  I will need to work hard to get things rolling. I know I can do it. I want to be able to be with my family and friends as I work. Have it setup up when I am not in the mood to deal with people, I can go into my office and work on the things I enjoy doing.  My bookstore will be the first thing I focus on getting to making profit. The first thing I am working on is getting the bookshelf that fell apart a couple month a replaced. I already put one set of shelves together but the set of shelves is not as wide so I will need to purchase a set of

Starting To Move Out of My Comfort Zone

This has been a year for me. I got Covid in June and my mom got Covid right after me. Mom is currently on her fourth hospital stay. Friday, she was transferred down to a Critical Care Hospital in Greenville, SC. She has been in the local hospital here in town for three weeks. It has been one thing after another. They are to make her oxygen levels stable and help her be able to move around on her own more than she is now. She has not started her physical therapy, but they have cut the amount of oxygen she is taken cut over half already.  I am hoping she will be off the oxygen completely by the time she comes home. The hardest part of her being in the hospital in Greenville is that I will not be able to visit her before work.  There have been a lot of changes at work. The lead on the dock passed away in May. I have been filling the position until they offically give the position to someone. I was put in for the position but was turned down for the position. The reasons for why I was tur
