Improving My Compost Pile
With the failed try of the garage bin compost, I have gone back to my old compost pile. I brought home three pallets from the trash at work to help contain the compost pile. This afternoon, I put the three pallets together and worked on getting the compost in the compost stall. I just used some common nails and a hammer to make the backstop for my compost pile. It was a pain to get the first nails in on each side being I was working on the project by myself but, I got it together. I managed to get the pallet back stop together and placed around the compost pile in the rain today. I will need to get out on the next day when there is no rain and work on getting the backstop setup better around the compost pile. When the rain stops, I will need to shift through the compost and get the good dirt out and use it in my garden beds throughout my yard. Then clean up all the leaves and other organic material in the yard and put it on the compost. I am hoping with the wood around the compost pi
